USING OUR ONLINE PATIENT PORTAL - CONNECTMED (SECURE ONLINE SITE)

Patient portals are secure online sites provided by Gp's where patients can access their health information and interact with their general practice.  They give people convenient and secure electronic access to their health information, increasing their ability to manage their own health.

Broadway Medical Centre now has an Online Patient Portal where you can:

  • Make Doctor's appointments
  • Request prescriptions (Coming Soon)
  • View recalls and lab results (Coming Soon) 

Please see reception when you are next at Broadway, or visit https://www.connectmed.co.nz/ to register online.

GETTING STARTED: 

  • You must be 16 years or older

  • You must be an enrolled patient at Broadway Medical Centre
  • You will need a unique and personal email address to sign up (if someone else has already signed up using a shared email, you will need to create your own before you can join ConnectMed
  • If you sign up online you will have immediate Level 1 access where you can make appointments* (If you have trouble signing up online, it is most likely because you have changed your phone number and we have your old one in our system, or someone else in your family has signed up using a shared email.  Please ask reception to confirm your details).
  • If you sign up at reception with a form and provide a form of ID, you will receive an email from us with instructions and an activation code. You will immediately have access to make appointments and increased access as soon as this becomes available, see below
  • You will need to fill out a form at reception and provide aan appropriate form of ID (Driver's licence, Passport, Student ID) to have Level 2 access (Coming Soon) which will allow you to request repeat prescriptions from your long-term medication list, see recalls and view Lab results online. 
  • Nurse appointments are not available on-line. Please ring reception on 03 477 4335

*Some consultations need longer than 15 minutes for example more than two issues to discuss with the doctor or a full medical. You can book two consecutive appointments or contact reception to confirm the appointment length required. You cannot bring more than one person to one appointment.

Level 2 access is being phased in over the coming weeks so if you would like to have access to this as it becomes available please complete a registration form at reception and bring appropriate ID as above.
On receipt of your ConnectMed Enrolment Form and ID we will enter your details and you will receive an email from ConnectMed that must be responded to within seven days.  The email will contain a link to the ConnectMed Patient Portal where you must twice enter a password you have chosen.
