We provide all the services you’d expect from a general practice, as well as some you might not.

  • The one-issue clinic for your acute/urgent appointment today.

    Why we’ve introduced this:
    You told us that timely access is important. This clinic helps ensure urgent issues are seen quickly, while keeping GP appointments available for ongoing care.

  • Standard scheduled appointments are 15 minutes. If you have multiple issues to discuss, or just feel you need more time, feel free to request a 30 minute double appointment.

  • An ongoing support service to help you manage your own health, through long-term conditions.

  • There are times you don’t need to see a doctor. Our nurses can take care of preventative screening, immunisations, wound care, health checks and advice.

  • Our health improvement practitioners  are here to help you make decisions about your health and boost your wellbeing. They can work with you to problem-solve issues, work through blocks, and develop goals. 

Specialist
Care

We are fortunate to have a range of GPSIs (General Practitioner with Special Interest) at Broadway. These GPs have developed increased expertise in a specific area of medicine. 

This service means you can get seen a lot earlier than you would if you waited for a hospital appointment with a specialist.

  • If you have a condition that was caused by an accident, you may be able to be treated by a orthopaedic GP specialist outside of the hospital, covered by ACC

  • Diagnosis and treatment of all types of skin conditions including skin cancer and melanoma.

  • Day surgery for minor surgical procedures that do not require a hospital, such as in-grown toenails, lesions and infections.

  • •   Mirena & IUD insertions and replacements
    •   Jadelle insertions, removals, and replacements
    •   Pipelle biopsies
    •   Ring pessary fitting & changing

  • Coming soon! We are waiting on WellSouth and Te whatu Ora for details and requirements of the funding.

    Provides a supportive step-by-step process to start gender affirming hormones, from initial consultation through to prescription, until ongoing care can be handed back to your GP.

  • Get pre-travel health risk assessments, regarding all aspects of your upcoming trip. We can advise on how to mitigate risks, including vaccines and medicines.
